These paths, we travel.

'These paths, we travel' is a series of images taken on the streets of the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Initially tools for orienting a new neighbourhood, the images are part of a project that researches British migrants in Australia. This in mind, they reflect a particular way that temporality, nationality and place are constructed, framed, repeated, remembered and forgotten. They are empty, anonymous, unfamiliar places & spaces that are both lived in and passed through. They speak to the public, and yet overtly private, spaces of the suburbs and home.
