The General Strike

My first experience covering a protest also proved to be the most challenging experience of my life. A General Strike happened in Brazil on April 28th, 2017, and what was supposed to be a peaceful protest turned into an ugly moral and physical massacre conducted by the police, in Rio de Janeiro. This is the story of a photographer caught in the middle of the action. The images are a bit like my memory of what went on: hazy, blurred and alight.
