The Loss of the Beloved World of Appearances

This body of work is an exploration of blindness. This interpretation creates a parallel with the world of sighted people in which the value of blindness transcends our apparent reality. These portraits serve as testimony of this different “view” point and way of life, a way that passes from the appearance to the essence of things. This project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Detroit Receiving hospital Visually Handicapped Services.
