The Yangon Circular Railway is a local commuter train that makes a 45.9-kilometre 39-station loop around satellite towns and suburban areas of Yangon. It takes about three hours, and I rode it in January of 2017, with the goal of both experiencing it, and getting some ideas for a story about Yangon's railways in general. I also had a film camera with me (along with a small digital), experimenting with the idea of trying to do future stories entirely on film. So this is a work in progress, and the photos here represent the genesis of a story idea.
