the working title for this was the magician's apprentice. it was basically a little cabinet that had been collecting odds and ends since i moved into a new space. people kept being drawn to the little heap of clutter there, so i started scheduling shoots for people to interact with this little still life that i made out the objects, which took on different meanings for each person.
