Pool Day

Each spring, Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami hosts a free week-long overnight camp for ventilation assisted children and their families. One of the highlights of the camp, now in its 31st year, is 'Pool Day'. For many of these special needs children, it's the very first time (or the only time during the year) that they ever get into a swimming pool. It's a life-changing experience not only for the campers but for the many young volunteers who give up their Spring Break to be a part of this unique camp for kids.
