Memories

MEMORIES A visual tour in my past, in my memories and in my deepest feelings. Places where I spent unforgettable moments of thoughtlessness and freedom, but also places that nowadays I revisit in a different light: …the so beloved sea… the sand…alleys that I walked a thousand times, the tennis courts and then again the crossroad where my father lost his life or the house in which my mother still lives. These images show only a particular, a detail that still emotionally involves me…sparks that fade into emptiness to preserve almost the space of my most authentic feeling from the real background that’s become other by this time, transformed by the inesorable floating of time. An inner path that made me then able to give birth to my work “Aesthetics of Emptiness” in which I rediscover and work with the impermanence and the importance of emptiness, revisiting Japanese culture and art.
