The nine images I have included here, in the form of three triptychs, explore the way I see a situation or form and how it fills the space it's placed in. I am simply interested in that occupied space and how, in this instance, people, architecture and plants inhabit it, creating images that capture a different way of representing it visually and emotionally. The first three images concentrate on people and space, different views of them and their surroundings, solitary in their movement but not necessarily alone, seemingly oblivious to their presence in space, the next three images examine the architectural effect of light and space, examining how chosen views impact on visual interpretation, capturing shapes, forms and shadows, the staircases connected by their curves into space, and the last three explore plants and space, examining a wavering branch and it's relationship to the space around it, distorting the impact of the images by how they are viewed in their space.
