Portrait

These are various examples of portrait photography I took during the last years. Most of them were taken directly on the street, some in Bars, some in people's homes and only few in a photostudio. Whenever I take portraits of people, I try to know as much about them as possible before actually meeting them. In this way it's easier for me to get them into a conversation and eventually forget about the camera and focus on me. (If this does not help, a glass of wine usually get's the job done).
