The project is about a woman called Sara, who 20 years ago suffered a motorcycle accident. Sara lived and worked as a pilot in the United States. She was also newly married. In addition, she would also work as a model and a singer at a nightclub on her spare time.
Now, 20 years later, she lives with a traumatic brain injury. The injury means she is often tired, has memory problems, and has a less functioning left side of her body. She has assistants helping her around the clock and currently spend her days at adult day care.
She´s no longer married.
Sara is about living in alienation while still having the courage to be seen and heard. The project is also about her unique ability to deal with her disability, in a way that is full of spirit and vitality.
