Mannequins, Miniatures, Puppets, Dolls, Masks
Project info

Like many photographers, I'm fascinated by mannequins. I think it's because they are at once portrait and still life, object and subject, natural and unnatural, lively and dead, sexy and repulsive, abstract and specific, clean and scuffed, nurtured and abused, clarifying and confusing, admired and dismissed. In short, they epitomize many of the paradoxes at the core of photography itself.
