This Country is Yours

This Country is Yours is an on-going body of work based in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The work focuses on activists of six social and political movements of Nepal during the historic process of writing Nepal’s constitution. The six movements include women, indigenous nationalities, Dalits, Madeshis (regional minorities from southern plains), the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community, and religious minorities. I work with colour negatives and a 4x5 view camera, and the images are printed as Archival Inkjet prints.
