These photographs are taken at only one kind of restaurant where is selling raw sea food(sashimi) at Market in Tongyeong, South Korea. I would like to represent the issue of female labor with the history of the market and gentrification with the different shape of place from the unique and alive place in seaside country town. And I also want to talk about the ‘sign’ on the front of each restaurant in pictures to describe ‘Korean kitsch’ in colour and style on the surface. I casted them directly during I walked and photographed them in market. This work is types of documentary and achieve work to show their business place with the chef and tradewomen of there.
