Inspired originally by René Magritte’s ”La reproduction interdite” and also by Francis Bacon’s ”Three studies of the male back” it is a kind of ”unheimlich” exploration of the mirror and doppelgänger motif in life and art. The inserted paintings are of the Dutch masters from the 17th century.
