Blue - The Fragility of Being

“Blue – The Fragility of Being” is a personal account of 5 months of being alive. In the beginning, there was movement ... Things happening Out Of The Blue, changing my life, changing me, occurences in the outside world, the universe rearranging constellations ... affecting my emotional constellations, causing them to move, rearrange ... inner movement that needed to be expressed through the body ... recorded on video, in my space, spontaneously, making visible the movement of my life by means of my body, my way of moving, dancing ... making sense of it all by letting it flow through me, making it visible on video ... the body like a funnel wide open on both ends, transforming, translating the incoming information in my inner space and projecting it back into the outside world, Into The Blue ... feelings of transparency, vagueness, uncertainty ... carrying myself, giving birth to a new version of myself ... Then there were pictures, lines, compositions, little creatures, jumping at me while walking the streets of the city ... whispering ... thoughts ... the given immobile structures of life ... and these I needed to photograph ... And thus, projecting stills of the videos onto the photos, I created a cycle of images showing different states of being ... translucent, not belonging, struggling with time, striving to find my space, feeling separated, connected, multiplied, lonely, belonging ... passing through an alchemic process in the middle ... phoenix burning and rising ... vanishing and materializing ... BLUE
