Most of my attention has to be down on the ground right in front of me. Curbs, cracks, uneven sidewalks, broken glass, gum and other "icky" stuff can all pose a hazard for me when pushing my wheel chair. If I'm not looking at the ground, where I am rolling I run the risk of rolling into it or in the case of cracks and curbs getting the little wheels caught and falling out of the chair. When the circumstance allow, I've gotten pretty good at looking a bit ahead and seeing that the path appears clear. This allows me to snap a picture, to catch glimpses of who and what I'm passing.
