Play of Light

As light embraces the world, our surroundings are transformed portraying a reality from the play of light on the land. As it passes through the atmosphere bending to the curve of the earth, our senses are triggered to generate thoughts and feelings. The tension between the reality of the world and the reality created by thought defines our own world whether perceptional or conceptual. The style here is heavily influenced by the Impressionist period; in particular, Monet and Renoir.
