Street 2017 (competition)

It's all still new to me, since last year having a photo selected of a building, ( I like them they don't move) I have been trying to take street shots of people. I was pretty disappointed to discover a lot of street shots are actually set up, as in the photographer has asked a person to walk across or be in the shot or used a model. I didn't understand my feedback from last year which asked why I didn't show more of Mr Beautiful, a man in my shot. I enjoy the challenge of taking a photo in the moment, literally. I have a lot of shots that are all over the place shooting from the hip, but there are occasional exciting glimpses of the world around me. What I did learn from my feedback was the importance of cropping, which I have been able to do, and starting an Instagram account to share and connect with street photography.
