Overwhelmed by the culture of the “more”, the newest, the most original, the iper accessible, I find happiness in the simplicity of the nature, in the emptiness from human actions and productions.
There, in the nature, I see the beauty, the strength, the resilience, the eternity, the tenderness, the calm, the energy, the past and the present.
Overwhelmed by the social filling up with information, objects, contacts, news, talks, and dates, I feel the need of emptying my life and my mind and the need of going back at looking, staying still, listening, breathing.
This project is another step in my research for emptiness that went through three other works: Ghost Towns, The Fog, The Desert.
The flowers growing and living in the wind, in the snow, and in the desert are another antidote against the contemporary state of confusion, neurosis and bulimia I feel surrounding me every day.
