Talking to Myself: A Conversation with Images Posted to Facebook and Instagram, Prompted by the Occasion of My Mother’s Death. I try to post images to Instagram and Facebook on a regular basis (phone pics almost exclusively) and I prefer not to write much (if anything at all). These platforms have provoked me by creating threads and grouping images in ways that I might night have imagined otherwise. For me, these images are a bittersweet reminder and reconstruction of recent events.
