Elemental

These photographs are a collection of my work examining the elements of art. I am repeatedly drawn to constructing abstract images that investigate colour, form, lines, shape, space, texture and value using and observing a variety of materials that simply represent nature and explore it's spatial connections. Perhaps the symmetrical approach I employ in my work is reminiscent of my past mathematical training, there is an attempt to balance the natural views between and within images, respectively.
