Through the Mouse Hole

Inspired by Tom & Jerry and The Borrowers, this photo series follows the adventure of a girl who finds herself in the home of a mouse who live behind the skirting board in their family home. Using hand made scenes, furniture and props, combined with composite studio portraiture, to create a fantasy world inspired the tales and cartoons of childhood. The series is shot in the style of a low-fi cartoon or Super8 still frame, and is intended to be viewed as an animation or short film, rather than real photographs.
