Photography is an art form that reflects reality, or creates it. It is a way to tell stories, by appealing to the imagination of the viewer who will reinvent the missing pieces: the before and the after. This series tells a story of a child, the photographer’s own, captured in different symbolic moments. It is a conversation – what the mother imagines in her mind’s eye, what the child wishes to share from within her imaginary universe. But is it a game, or a role that the girl plays for her mother?
