The Journey - Asta's Thunder

Dear curator: This series was created with the idea of self awareness as a path to self idealization. I'm focusing on the mystical aspect of an internal journey with a touch of mythological references. The model is Asta Paredes. Both Asta and myself were in agreement that our Latin American sensibility should be at play and make an ironic approach to our identity. The stereotypical aspects of vanity is wrapped in a mystical minimalistic beginning and a full saturated and more plastic-like ending. Such is the way that I perceive life itself. The images have not been physically altered, just added curves, contrasts to emphasize the mood. Images are 100% organic and no special effects or compositing has been done to them.
