Echo and Narcissus is a tribute to the power of the Myth and to the genius of Ovid, in the bimillenary of his death (17 - 2017)
Each of the ten scenes symbolizes an aspect of the desire, an aspiration, a hope, a will.
The characters of the myth are immersed in the elements of nature to the point of being almost imprisoned by those that from time to time prevail on the scene. The natural elements are evoked with three of the five platonic solids, geometric figures which represent the whole reality. They serve to tell the myth through the symbolism associated with the main characters: water for Narcissus (icosahedron), air for Echo (octahedron), fire for the passion consuming both (tetrahedron).
