My passion is the natural world as part of our planet, especially volcano areas which embraces elements of nature in Japan and my joy is helping people appreciate natures and live more in harmony with the earth.
Like how a person’s history shows in his face, the earth’s history has been engraved into her landscapes. I am intrigued by the elements of the global and natural environment - clouds, snow, fog, ice, rain, springs, waterfalls, seas, land and geological layers; surface layer elements such as shapes and lines that comprise photos are what reflect in my eyes. Rather than shooting something inherent to a location, its important to shoot the vestiges that allude to the earth’s flow of time - in other words, the textures that could be considered the expression of the landscape. My focus is on the intrinsic beauty of that landscape.
