KARATE-DO VALUES AND PRINCIPLES

I'm a practitioner of KARATE-DO for almost 20 years, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. I'm passionate about Karate-do as a martial art and also as a sport. I intend to present throught my photographys some of the values and principles of this martial art that are showed throught its students, athletes, professors and masters in action, performing their bests at major championships and courses. And this year (2017) I had the opportunity of covering two major events of two important institutions of Karate-do in Brazil: the major event of JKA Brazil (Japan Karate Association) - the JKA Brazilian National Championship that was held in the city of Goiânia, state of Goiás, in Brazil, on April 2017, and the major event of JKS BRASIL (Japan Karate Shoto Federation) the 4th JKS Panamerican Championship which was held in the city of Vitória, State of Espírito Santo, in Brazil, on July 2017.
