A Little Light

'A Little Light' is part of an ongoing project begun in early 2017 collecting images that explore how light may express the ineffable intimacy and momentary experiences of our personal space. The image entitled 'Source' manifests all the remaining images and acts as a keystone to the project, the portal connecting the internal and external worlds. In exhibition this image is presented as a Lightbox, engaging with the viewer through transmitted rather than reflected light. The following images are presented as a 'work in progress' hand bound folio bookwork, presented alongside Lightbox. The images are all captured within a single personal space, presented in a clockwise chronology of their position within the space and are expressions of the intimate experience of place connected through a practice of mindful attention to the present moment.
