Out of Service

The most disarming thing about working in an oilfield is that in many cases it's not field, but an undulating landscape of hills, ravines, rivers, and all the junk that's left behind. I decided to start documenting it as I drove around, checking on well sites. I find a striking beauty and creeping horror in what I see. It's become a long term project of almost five years.
