' A SEA OF TIME ' – Jurgen Beullens We live in a busy world and rarely have time to stand still or to enjoy. However, all of us need a sea of time. I myself try to the infernal rhythm of our today's hectic society to escape by shooting. Or better yet, by the sea? I was born in Knokke and have my first years of life near the Sea lived. And while I am away for years now, continues to draw the water to me. By the sea I feel got rid of the crowds, and I'm going to the carelessness. With the title ' A sea of time ' on the one hand, I would refer to what the Sea offers me and whatever I want with it through my photos to the Viewer. In this work I show no topographical landscapes, but I show the viewer a glimpse of my inner world. A dreamy world in which my photographic impressions of solitude, space and infinity can share with him. I want to touch him with atmosphere and mood.
