This series present everyday encounters in and around the stables. These are encounters often hidden from the public outside of the racing times and behind the scenes of competition days. I explore the relationship between man and horse. The images project the way of life around horses and converse on today’s horse culture, which involves affection and care, but on the other hand humanizes the animal.
