Apulia is a magic land in the South of Italy. It's rich of History, olive trees, colors and sounds. You can swim in its spectacular sea, welcomed by friendly people. But there's a place, in the gulf overlooking the Ionian Sea, where hundreds of men, women and children have been dying for years because of pollution produced by steel production. This project was born by chance while I was crossing Apulia during my summer holiday so cloudy weather, my coolpix camera, my car in movement, transformed by themeselves a wonderful landscape in a dramatic, oniric scene. The name of my project literally translates the title of the song by the Italian rapper called Caparezza 'Vieni a ballare in Puglia' (dated 2008). The song is a strong provocation against pollution of his native place: the word "dancing" means "dying".
