In my latest series „Home“ i illuminated magical places on earth from above in the dark. By putting lights on a drone and fly over the subject during longexposure, it gives the look and feel of a huge studio-light.  On the surface my images have a type of visual complexity that concentrates on colors, patterns and lines. The light bathes the subjects and separates them from the darkness.   The images are spiritual in a way they talk about the intimate and spiritual connections humans have with their fragile home, the earth. They celebrate the magical bonds humans have with all of nature.  For example the lonesome lime tree. The little hills were shaped naturally by glacier moraines. Since the harvest wasn`t good on these hills, the swiss people put a lime tree on each hill to chase away the devil. There is a little spiritual story behind each photo. I try to capture images that uplift the spirit of the viewer and make him desire to explore these mysterious places themselves.
