Bridging the Chinese Diaspora and Greater China

This series is the beginning of a photography project aiming to accomplish three goals: 1) bring awareness to Chinese diaspora and overseas born Chinese the importance of keeping cultural ties with the older Chinese generation in Greater China, 2) bring heartwarming encouragement to the older Chinese generation to proudly pass on their cultural heritage and 3) use photography to inspire, create human connections and preserve emotive memory in our current hyper technical world. My photography style is heartfelt, memorable and timeless. I capture cultural landscapes and heartwarming scenes where subjects at a grassroots level show joy to convey context and storyline. I wish to publish the results of my photography project in a bilingual English and Chinese book (perhaps further broken down into Cantonese and Mandarin).
