It was a school excursion from a stuffy class room to one of Tel Aviv's parks. The teacher was gone, but this didn't distract the teenagers from finding a broken palm branch and converting it to a fishing rod. Why not?! Why not chase the birds or fishermen, or Bar Mitzvah shooting, play the games. Be boys, be adventures, be joyful! Why not?
During my journeys to different countries I try to see the local life through the eyes of kids. To my surprise I found the most happiest children live in poorest countries or societies. They are unconditionally happy. They don't have mobile phones to socialise on Facebook, but they don't need it. They have plenty of real friends around them, available right then and there. That is the real reason to be happy, isn't it?!
