Blossoms Boys

These images are part of an ongoing project “Blossom Boys.” My current project considers the altered behaviour of preteen boys and captures their natural beauty in a setting where they do not feel the need to conform to peer pressure. I hope to empower young male ballet dancers who may have the struggle of how they present themselves to their social groups and to mature independently. My muses are my eldest son and his friend, currently dancing in the same class, quite rare in ballet. I aim to help them explore a positive sense of self that comes with the beautiful freedom of dressing up and performing.
