Rural Decay

These photos are a mere glimpse into the vast amount of abandoned family farmhouses strewn across the Midwest of the US. These once thriving homes have been left to decay, the families scattered across the country. Tattered curtains billowing out of shattered windows and paint peeling off weathered wood become familiar sights as one drives though the agricultural states. Family homes and their histories are now forgotten as agribusiness has taken over these small farms.
