Old Craftmanship from Mauritius Island - Indian Ocean

Through my images, I wanted to show different aspects of Mauritius Island that we tend to forget ( patrimonial, culture ...) Some craftmanship are being lost, as the technology is taking over and future generations are not willing to train, perpetuate the traditions of those skills. I wanted to capture those few artisanal jobs, to keep a memory of the talented people that contributed in their own way for the development of our island.
