Tandem project with Milena Ivanova and Nikolay Pandarski
The series Sculpture and Space aims to loosen the restrictions of the classical postulates, which view sculpture as a figurative form with the aid of photographical images in order to reach today’s interpretation of the constructive character of the plastic form, which is dynamic and interactive with the environment, which houses it.
The sculptures outside of the static museum environment in which the observer has grown accustomed to seeing and recognizing them have been placed in a new reality with the help of photography. This new reality removes them from anonymity and transforms them into lead role acting characters.
Utilizing the symbiosis between sculpture and space, the authors provoke the observer’s senses in both the conceptual and physical aspects of philosophy and the understanding of the world.
