From the series "Promised Land"

My work reflects on forced immigration: when a person or a family has to leave their country for problems outside their control such as those of a political, economic or religious nature. Luggage is the symbol of what my work represents. Luggage goes through different situations and emotions, looking for a better life. Luggage is myself, luggage is all of us immigrants, parents, grandparents, children and all people who for different reasons have had to leave their homeland, their loves ones, their culture, their language, their customs behind. Feelings of immigrants: Solitude, confusion, anxiety, fear, insecurity, depression, uncertainty, amongst many others. It is plausible that people who experience forced immigration need more time to adapt to a new culture and to really become engrained in it
