Our Childhood Fears is a fine art portrait series that showcases storytelling of our youthful terrors. I want my subjects to connect their own experiences and memories using their current appearance. I incorporate diversity to increase the connection to my audiences and to relate different walks of life. My subjects are sharing their own stories and memories to make this conceptual series interesting. With this project, it developed my approach in fine art, lighting skills, and creative storytelling. My successful images are in black and white that highlights contrasty and moody to amplify the fears. The titles are the person's name and the scientific terminology of their fear.
