Connections

Connections focus' on individuals who search for relationships with others and for a primordial connection with nature. Each subject has its own portrait, separate from the others as to not erase the idea of individuality but rather to create a common theme which unites them. Organic designs sprout from their bodies growing and intertwining within them. The designs dance with the body while the body reciprocates. The designs connect the people together emphasizing a sense of oneness. It is a still capture in time yet there is still a hint of movement due to the subject’s gestures. It is still and it is in motion. The faces, gestures, and drawings move around the work encounter other designs, interact and create new forms, richer than the previous ones. The common theme, being the design, looks beyond differences, beyond prejudices, and is only acceptance.
