St Peter's Italian Church: London's Italian Legacy

Sparked by a conversation with my elderly neighbour, Gloria Alberici, I discovered the area of London I had recently moved to was, until the 1940s, home to a 12,000-strong Italian community. Intrigued, I set out, camera in hand, to see what was left of this once thriving community. Few Italian’s remain living in Clerkenwell today, but, to my surprise, the Italian legacy is still thriving in the local church.
