The memory of water is a story of struggle for the survival of the Llobregat river delta. A natural space historically occupied by the river and the wetlands and that over the years has been invaded by industrial estates, newly constructed neighborhoods, roads, trains, port and airport of Barcelona and which has seen the river's course modified in several times until your current channeling. The memory of water is an effort to discover what remains of the delta, its people, its ways of life and its adaptation to the new times but above all the ability to continue resisting the pressures of the urban areas of the cities that surround it. This work it's a athropological approach to the life and customs of the area located around the delta of the river Llobregat . Life in the agrarian park, its inhabitants, leisure activities, protected areas and industrial zones struggle for survival in the face of the urban pressure of the big city. This series is a sample of the work that I am doing on social life and the territory that suppose a model of life unique in Europe next to a big city like Barcelona.
