CELLS This series extends and enriches my work of social urban archaeology. Through the paned windows of modern offices I explore the ecosystem of the services industry and its players. Tightly linked to contemporary architecture they seem to be at home in each of the boxes designed by the tower. A neutral and objective approach allows me to closely observe the stacks of floors saturated with employees. The images show the office furniture and equipment, the interior design, the dress codes, but especially the attitude and posture of the people who occupy these buildings dedicated to work. Observed from the outside, these open spaces are totally accessible and reveal a standardized universe, a singular vision of reality. « Cells », icons of a type of population and it’s epoch.
