One Ferry Many Journies

While travelling from Vancouver to Vancouver Island on the two hour ferry ride I noticed that while we were all sharing a single destination,  everyone was on their own journey. I notice that there was little interaction between strangers, each was travelling for a different purpose and used their time aboard , within their own space, to gather their thoughts, catch up with friends and family, or just simply be.
