The first 3 images were taken during my trip to Panama in March 2017. I hadn't gone back for 26 years and I wanted to capture what interested me the most. How would it have been if I had stayed and not immigrated to Canada? For a while, I took photos of my family who live there and anything that interested me. But, I wanted to search for 1 theme that would connect my family to it's surrounding and lifestyle as a Chinese person living in Panama. One thing that I found many Chinese people had in common was owning their own business - mini-supers, Chinese restaurants, or a phone/electronic store. Those were primarily the main kind of businesses. However, my main interest was the mini-supers. The other two images are what I primiarly shoot in toronto. Fashion and Portraiture.
