Of the Sea, Sand and Stones

This series of ten photos are part of an ongoing body of work. There are jewels of stone set in the sand by the sea, and I love to capture them at low tide in the golden glow of the setting sun. I sometimes need to rush to catch them before the sea washes them away, or unknowing beach walkers destroy them with their sightless pounding feet.
