One of the problems in recent years is global warming and the effects of drought and lack of water on the people's lives of the world. Iran is not exception and it has been affected by climate change. Lake and international wetland of Hamoun, is one of the areas which affected by drought in Iran. Hamoun is the third largest lake in Iran located in the Sistan and Baluchestan. Sistan and Baluchhestan is in the southeast of the country. Despite the written contract between the government of Iran and Afghanistan for determining the amount of water rights between the two countries, coinciding with a decrease in precipitation and dominating drought conditions in the region, Afghanistan in the past 16 years has refused to pay water rights to Iran and in recent years, the floods were only things were imported to Iran and lake plain in one or two months of the year. Besides, the environmental impact of Hamoun Lake, it was a source of income for people in the past. In recent years, it has become salt pan and during the monsoon wind, dust is the only thing which it has for the people of this region. As local people comment prior to dry of wetland, monsoon wind known as 120 days winds from June to September had a deniable role in keeping the area cool. Furthermore, it largely avoids from storms and dust in the area. In the recent years, Hamoun becomes dry due to: Abundant and non-normative conceptions of Water Resources, preventing of Afghanistan for the entry of Iran water rights to the Hamoun, Lack of attention to environmental impact, this wind change to 226 days winds in whole of a year because of the drought Hamoun and the increasing of winds and The formation of storm And reduced air quality and Creating dust, it causes problems such as eyes disease, skin disease, inhalation, and stomach.In addition to these effects, drought decreases clean water resources and cultivable land. Besides, it destroyed pastures which is now changed to unused arid field. This process decreases quality of agriculture products and cause to death of livestock. These changes have had a crucial effect on economic situation of people there. More than 70 percent of people make money from fishing, farming, and mat weaving. Drought destroyed the economy and being jobless and declining in revenue are obvious consequence of this issue leading to decrease in life expectancy. Thus, approximately 80 percent of Sistani people immigrated to other cities of IRAN to make money.
