Nisyros, the volcanic island

Nisyros is a small volcanic island of Dodecanese. A circular land that shines and breath peacefully in the Aegean sea. At the center of the island you can see its heart, the volcano with its craters. Everywhere in the island you can find wonderful volcanic rocks, minerals, stones and lava formations. In this project i`m trying to capture the beauty of the volcanic landscapes of Nisyros, the colors, the textures, the geological layers and forms, the organic patterns.
